It is not forbidden, but it is also not desirable to reach too heavily into the cosmetics box for a passport photo. When applying makeup, only the natural features of the face may be emphasized. Under no circumstances may the makeup distort the face!

If the makeup is too strong, the risk increases that the person on the passport photo does not match the real person, and identification fails in the worst case.

For this reason:

Make-up for a passport photo should at most emphasize the natural facial features. It must be ensured that there are no problems later in identifying the real person and the person in the photo.

Ideally, you should use as little makeup as possible, or preferably none at all. Furthermore, you should keep your hands off colored contact lists. However, there are no restrictions on hair, do what you want with it.

Just get a good night's sleep, treat the face with a gentle face cream in the morning, and the photo will look great even without makeup and other tools.
